You have questions, we have answers
Shuttle is the process of moving your vehicle or vehicles to the end of a journey with different start and end locations. For example; when rafting the Grand Canyon, the trip ends at a different location from the start. Therefore, you need a vehicle already parked at the end point before the trip begins to “shuttle” you back.
Shuttle is an unavoidable and integral part of many outdoor adventures, however, it is usually one of the less appealing aspects of them.
To give people a more enjoyable time on their adventure and alleviate stress, shuttle services offer a solution.
A shuttle service is a vehicle drop service that takes your vehicle or vehicles to the endpoint for you. You leave instructions and a trip itinerary when booking and then your car magically appears at the end point leaving you more time and less stress.
The service operates as follows: 2 people in one car drive to your vehicle at the start(the put in), one gets out and gets in your car and drives it to the destination point(take out). The car is parked in a safe location and the keys are left per your instructions in the form you filled out booking the shuttle.
If we are short staffed, the driver will leave a motorcycle at the take out and drive to the put in in our company car. Then our driver gets in your car, drives to the takeout, leaves the keys per your instructions and then bikes back to his car at the top. The end result is the same, your car magically appears at the end through no effort or worry on your part.
Planning an outing with a mandatory shuttle usually involves a good amount of collaboration and planning without involving the shuttle since it usually requires specialized gear (boats, mountain bikes) and skill. So it becomes easy to get overwhelmed and overlook things.
For example, in the hurry to start your trip you forget to put a change of clothes in the take out vehicle, giving you wet feet until, potentially you get home.
I would recommend a change of clothes and maybe some water in case you have run out. By change of clothes we mean everything, shoes, socks underwear and everything else. If its a short trip on a hot day a towel to dry off is nice and a cooler full of beverages and snacks is always a good call. Leaving valuables in plain sight, however, is NOT a good call.
Scan the QR Code, go to our website, call, or email us and we will get started on your booking process for your next trip.
Not necessarily. It depends on you and the trip and type of trip you’re taking. But, getting the shuttle run for you is always the easier option no matter the situation.
